Kosuke Kitajima is a celebrated Japanese swimmer known for his remarkable achievements in breaststroke events.

Born on September 22, 1982, in Tokyo, Japan, Kitajima earned the nickname "Frog King" for his distinctive and powerful kick. Throughout his career, he secured an impressive four Olympic gold medals, two each in the 100m and 200m breaststroke events, during the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Games.

Kitajima clinched numerous world championship titles and set several world records, leaving a lasting impact on the world of swimming and inspiring athletes around the globe.
